If you are going anywhere this summer, make it the Hamptons!

Art, sun, polo… is my kind of a fun time! Every summer the Hampton’s throws its annual art shindigs and art fairs; ArtHamptons is the longest-standing art fair in the Hamptons, and is now entering its eighth edition. From Jackson Pollock to David Salle the fair features the works of the masters to present day contemporary artists.

According to ArtHamptons, The Fair is visited by just under 15,000 collectors and attendees over four days.

• Continuously growing, the 7th edition was the largest to date, with 87 exhibitors from 12 countries and record-breaking Opening Night attendance and throughout the weekend.
• ArtHamptons works with nearly 70 leading museums and institutions annually as Cultural Partners, each promoting the fair to members, donors and boards.
• Many dealers reported more sales activity than expected at ArtHamptons 2014.
• Estimated art sales increase of 20 percent over 2013.
• Average price points of artworks in the $10k-50k level.

About ArtHamptons |  The 1st Fair of the season kicks off the summer season. This summer, the fair moved up one week to take advantage of the most populous weekend of the year – Independence Day weekend. Historically, the July 4 weekend is the “official kick-off” of the summer season and the Hamptons region experiences a substantial spike in its population. The long, three-day holiday weekend gives Hamptonites more time to plan the fair into their social calendar.

Opening Night Preview is hosted by Beach Modern Luxury. ArtHamptons is positioned as one of the leading attractions of the weekend, not only for second homeowners and their guests, but for year round residents and visiting tourists. As in past years, ArtHamptons remains the first art fair of the summer season and where Hamptonites go to acquire their fine art.
